Read more...MARYN is happy to announce the addition of two new team members to the Research Lab. Marie-Cecile Copplemans and Jimmy Cai both bring unique experience in Bio Process Engineering and Physical Chemistry
Marie-Cecile has a master's degree in Bio Process Engineering and is therefore a perfect fit for our MARYN team. With such a curious mind, Marie-Cecile is constantly learning and helping the rest of us learn as well. Marie-Cecile definitely doesn't fall under the lab geek stereotype of tape on the glasses and a white lab jacket. When her work here is done, the only place you'll find her is in the great outdoors. From skiing to mountaineering, hiking to snow shoeing, Marie-Cecile is not just an expert in the lab, but in nature as well.
Jimmy landed on Canadian soil 4 years ago with the hopes to get a better education and to gain some independence. He decided that the best way to do that was to play with chemicals, but not the illegal kind. Jimmy has a master's degree in physical chemistry and loves the research that we enable him to do at MARYN. When the day is done here it's likely that you'll find Jimmy at the gym playing basketball or even doing some service at a local senior's center. Wherever you find him, you're likely to have a good laugh with the nicest guy you'll ever meet.
Marie-Cecile and Jimmy will be responsible for performing quality control and research testing for existing products and also be involved in the development of new products in the coming months and years. We welcome them to the MARYN team and look forward to using the unique experience they each hold.
