The Colony applied Power Up Lubricants to the majority of their base oils, lubricating points and fuel.
After applying Power Up Gen49D, the combines did not alarm once for “fuel rack out of position”. The
combine engines were serviced with EngineMaxx and operated for 334 hours on the same oil. Oil analysis
determined that the oil would and did perform & protect for the entire harvest. Due to application of
ThixOgrease, none of the chopper bearings needed replacing. There was a 15% increase on their price per litre of
fuel but just a 1.7% increase on their cost of fuel per acre. Having the fuel treated with Gen49D allowed the
combines to harvest 21.5 more acres per tank of fuel. Net result was a 13% savings!
The Colony is very happy to report that they had no downtime on the combines, other than to replace
knife sections on their sickle bars.
