History of Product Development

Marinus Saw Guide Oil was developed for Weyerhaeuser to solve sawing problems with:

  • Extreme oil consumption
  • Excessive water consumption causing unacceptable chips, wet saw dust and winter maintenance problems
  • Traditional oil-induced health and safety concerns
  • Extreme Saw and Guide wear

 

Maryn International Ltd. developed the Marinus and Triumph brand Saw Guide Oils from and environmental base format that eliminates handling, toxicity and environmental issues.  Developed to work with water, slightly emulsifying and reducing the separation that naturally occurs between oil and water, SGO also includes exceptional additives to reduce friction and wear.  Included in these additives is a unique tackifier to keep oil at the saw plate but easily cleaned in the file room.  We have greatly improved the rust and corrosion inhibitors to combat the detrimental effects of water.
